Privacy
This page explains what happens when you visit autostare.com or join the waitlist.
Visitor counts
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit this site, roughly where they're from, and how they found it. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your browser and device type, and an approximate location based on your IP address. We don't collect your name or email, and we don't use this information for advertising.
Google processes this information under its own policy: how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address, and your answer to "What would you use it for?" if you choose one, so we can send you one email when AutoStare launches. No newsletters, no spam, and we never sell or share your address.
Sign-ups are stored by our website host, Netlify, in the United States. When we send the launch email, we'll use an email service that includes an unsubscribe link. To be removed from the list at any time, use that link or reply to the launch email.
Google Analytics only records that a sign-up happened. It never receives your email address.
Opting out of analytics
You can block Google Analytics with your browser's privacy settings or a content blocker, or with Google's opt-out add-on. The site works the same either way.
Changes
When AutoStare launches, this page will be updated to cover the product itself.
